Birds of Prey World Cup Races - December
As the only men’s World Cup stop in the United States, the Audi Birds of Prey has evolved into one of the world’s premier ski events. Beaver Creek Mountain is home to the formidable Birds of Prey racecourse, challenging an international roster of top athletes for three days of racing including Downhill, Super G and Giant Slalom.
Black Diamond Ball - December
Presenting the Vail Valley Foundation’s Annual Black Diamond Ball featuring dinner and dancing, along with live auction and exciting raffles. The Foundation’s largest fundraising event, last year’s Black Diamond Ball raised in excess of $500,000 to aid the organization’s mission of enhancing the quality of life in the Vail Valley for both residents and guests through athletics, education and the arts.
Master Chef Classic (Beaver Creek Food & Wine) - January
We are proud to announce our partnership with FOOD & WINE to host the 2012 Beaver Creek FOOD & WINE weekend. This winter culinary festival will take place Thursday, January 26th through Saturday, January 28th. Tickets are on sale!
Talons Challenge - March
Talons Challenge showcases the best steeps Beaver Creek has to offer. Over 24,000 vertical feet of Black Diamond and Double Black Diamond runs await on Beaver Creek’s legendary World Cup Birds of Prey downhill course, Grouse Mountain, and in Larkspur Bowl. Conquer all 13 runs and earn your spot on the Talon's Wall-of-Fame!
Blues-Brews-BBQ - May
The summer season at Beaver Creek kicks off Memorial Day weekend with the annual Blues, Brews and BBQ Festival from Friday, May 25 to Monday, May 28. This signature summer event serves up delicious barbeque fare cooked by visiting chefs from across the country, as well as Vail Valley favorites, complimented by microbrews from a variety of national breweries.
Tough Mudder - June
Tough Mudder events are hardcore 10-12 mile obstacle courses designed by British Special Forces to test your all around strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie. With the most innovative courses, half a million inspiring participants, and more than $2 million dollars raised for the Wounded Warrior Project, Tough Mudder is the premier adventure challenge series in the world. This year's Beaver Creek challenge will be held June 9-10.
Independence Day Celebration- July
Celebrate the birth of our nation under the blue skies of Beaver Creek this July 4th with live music and fireworks on the back lawn next to the Centennial Express Lift. Bring the whole family and enjoy the outdoors by day with activities such as scenic chairlift rides, guided hikes and thrilling mountain bike rides and by night enjoy performances from The Back in the Day Band and Bruce in the USA, a tribute to Bruce Springsteen and the E St. Band, followed by a brilliant fireworks display.
US Pro Challenge Cycling - August
From international athletes to heads of state from around the globe, Beaver Creek has hosted a variety of national and international events on and off the slopes.
