Birds of Prey World Cup Races - December
As the only men’s World Cup stop in the United States, the Audi Birds of Prey has evolved into one of the world’s premier ski events. Beaver Creek Mountain is home to the formidable Birds of Prey racecourse, challenging an international roster of top athletes for three days of racing including Downhill, Super G and Giant Slalom.
Black Diamond Ball - December
Presenting the Vail Valley Foundation’s Annual Black Diamond Ball featuring dinner and dancing, along with live auction and exciting raffles. The Foundation’s largest fundraising event, last year’s Black Diamond Ball raised in excess of $500,000 to aid the organization’s mission of enhancing the quality of life in the Vail Valley for both residents and guests through athletics, education and the arts.
Talons Challenge - March
Talons Challenge showcases the best steeps Beaver Creek has to offer. Over 24,000 vertical feet of Black Diamond and Double Black Diamond runs await on Beaver Creek’s legendary World Cup Birds of Prey downhill course, Grouse Mountain, and in Larkspur Bowl. Conquer all 13 runs and earn your spot on the Talon's Wall-of-Fame!
Blues-Brews-BBQ - May
The summer season at Beaver Creek kicks off Memorial Day weekend with the annual Blues, Brews and BBQ Festival. This signature summer event serves up delicious barbeque fare cooked by visiting chefs from across the country, as well as Vail Valley favorites, complimented by microbrews from a variety of national breweries.
Culinary Demonstration Series - June
Watch as Chefs from local restaurants give free culinary demonstrations at the Culinary Experience tent in Beaver Creek Plaza. This event takes place every Friday and Saturday throughout the summer. Learn culinary secrets of the chefs and sample exquisite dishes at the end of each demonstration.
Avon Farmer's Market
The new Avon Farmer's Market will run on Saturdays from June 13 - Sept. 12 in the Christy Sports parking lot, just a short walk from The Westin Riverfront. Held weekly from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., this farmer's market features local vendors, fresh produce, live music and more.
Red, Whites & Brews Festival - June
The spirit of Colorado and summertime come together at this annual June festival featuring amazing craft brews, local high-country food, boutique wines and incredible live music all in Avon's Nottingham Park.
First Bank Salute to the USA Fireworks Celebration - July 3rd
The 29th annual Salute to the USA will take place on July 3rd starting at 5 p.m. in Avon's Nottingham Park. This family-friendly festival features live music, local food, family activities like face painters, fire jugglers and magicians and the largest fireworks display in the state of Colorado!
Independence Day Celebration- July 4th
Celebrate the birth of our nation under the blue skies of Beaver Creek this July 4th with live music and fireworks on the back lawn next to the Centennial Express Lift. Bring the whole family and enjoy the outdoors by day with activities such as scenic chairlift rides, guided hikes and thrilling mountain bike rides and by night enjoy musical performances followed by a brilliant fireworks display.
Beaver Creek Music Experience- July - August
More than a concert series - it’s a Music Experience! Enjoy this free Wednesday night tradition with the beauty of Beaver Creek as your backdrop. Join us every Wednesday night from July 1 – August 12 at 6:00PM in Beaver Creek to enjoy popular music at different venues around the village.
