It's going to be a busy holiday week here in Beaver Creek, with tons of special New Year's Eve festivities on the calendar - not to mention great snow for skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, Nordic skiing and tubing. Wishing you a safe and Happy New Year!

Beaver Creek Torchlight Parade Ring in the New Year in style with Beaver Creek's Torch Light Ski-Down Parade, which is always set to fun music, followed by a spectacular fireworks display in the Beaver Creek Village. The Ski-down, which is free and open to intermediate and above level skiers and riders, starts at 7 p.m. - register at the Children's Ski & Snowboard School by 6:30 p.m. if you'd like to participate! The fireworks show will begin at approximately 7:45 p.m., a great way for families to celebrate the New Year! |
New Year's Eve at Avondale
A few spots are still available for Restaurant Avondale's New Year's Eve Dinner & Party! Chef Jeremy Kittelson will be serving a decadent five-course menu, to be followed by live music by Bonfire, dancing and a champagne toast. Avondale is offering two dinner seatings - 5:30 p.m. & 8:30 p.m., with prices starting at $95 for adults. Call 970-790-6603 to reserve your spot now.
Elvis and the Flying Karamazov Brothers
Beaver Creek's Vilar Center is hosting two entertaining shows this week - Blue Suede Shows: The Ultimate Elvis Tribute tonight, Dec. 27, and The Flying Karamazov Brothers, for two performances on Thursday, Dec. 30th. Scot Bruce and Mike Albert team up to bring you a riveting tribute to the 'King of Rock & Roll.' Scot Bruce plays a young Elvis performing the hits of his early career and Mike Albert plays Elvis in his Vegas years. The Flying Karamazov Brothers will dazzle audiences of all ages with their unique blend of music, comedy, dance, theater and juggling. The Vilar Performing Arts Center is located beneath the ice rink in Beaver Creek Plaza. Tickets to both shows are available at 888-920-2787.

Christmas is always a magical time to spend in Beaver Creek! This year, the plethora of snow that we've already received here in the Vail Valley will guarantee that all the skiers and snowboarders will wake up happy on Christmas morning. Vail's Holidaze continues in full swing this week - enjoy Snowman decorating, holiday treats and family-friendly entertainment daily in the Vail Village. On Tuesday, Dec. 21st, Beaver Creek's Vilar Center will host the wildly popular Preservation Hall Jazz Band and their Creole Christmas tour. Tickets can be purchase at 888-920-2787.
