Snowshoe Adventure Series On Sunday, Feb. 6, don't miss the second race in the Beaver Creek's Snowshoe Adventure Series - a great excuse to get outside and enjoy another gorgeous Colorado winter day with friends and family! Held at Beaver Creek's Creekside Park, this week's race features the East West Resorts 5K Quest, Dogma Athletica 10K and a Kids' 1K. Registration is $30 in advance at Dogma Athletica or $35 the day of tge race. The Kids' 1K - open to those 12 and younger - is free for any child accompanied by a parent. Hope to see you there! |
Vilar Center
Beaver Creek's Vilar Center has a stellar line up of performances this week designed to appeal to cultural connoisseurs of all types. On Tuesday, Feb. 2nd, experience An Evening with Marvin Hamlisch. Hamlisch - one of the preeminent conductors and pops artists of our times - has composed more than 40 motion picture scores, including "The Way We Were" and "A Chorus Line." On Thursday, enjoy an evening with celebrated songwriter Amos Lee, who just released the album "Mission Bell." And on Friday, unwind with Grammy-nominated R&B musician and soul singer James Hunter. Master Chef Classic

Vail Winter Art Walk

The Ice Rink at Avon's Harry A. Nottingham Park is now open skating daily from 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.! Skate for free on your own skates or rent a pair from the Avon Log Cabin. Talons Challenge Registration is now open for Beaver Creek's annual Talons Challenge - the chance to ski 13 Black Diamond and Double-Black Diamond runs in one day! See if you can handle 24,000+ vertical feet on the legendary World Cup Birds of Prey downhill course, in Larkspur Bowl and Grouse Mountain.
