Teva Mountain Games
The 10th annual Teva Mountain Games - the country's largest celebration of adventure sports, art and music - returns to Vail this weekend, starting on Thursday, June 2 with a free concert by The Dirty Heads at 7 p.m. at Vail's Checkpoint Charlie. Professional and amateur athletes from around the world will be competing in 8 sports and 24 disciplines, including kayaking, rafting, mountain biking, bouldering, climbing, fly fishing and trail running. On Saturday at 7 p.m., enjoy a free concert by Xavier Rudd in the Vail Village!

ChiRunning Clinic at the Riverfront Club On May 21-22, the Riverfront Club will host two 4-hour workshops on ChiRunning, the revolutionary running technique that combines T'ai Chi with the power and energy of running, led by certified instructor Mary Lindahl. ChiRunning takes the pounding, pain and potential damage out of the sport and makes running, safe, efficient and truly enjoyable. The workshop fee, which includes Video Gait Analysis, is $225 for the public and $185 for Riverfront Club members. The Saturday session can be purchased for $150 for the public, $125 for members.
