Happy 3rd birthday to us! We are thrilled to be celebrating our third anniversary this week! It has been an amazing journey thus far - from our Silver LEED certification to the #1 Resort in the U.S. award from the readers of Condé Nast Traveler to being named one of the "10 Best Snow Resorts for Families" by Parents Magazine. And of course we've enjoyed three great ski seasons with bountiful snow and three gorgeous summers fishing and rafting on the Eagle River! Thank you to all of our guests, owners and fans for your support and all the wonderful memories - we're looking forward to another great year!

Vail Valley Color Tour Colorado's gorgeous yellow Aspen trees are hitting their peak fall color this week, so be sure to get out and enjoy the amazing scenery. Riverfront Club Expansion
We are very pleased to announce that we've launched a $1 million renovation and expansion of the Riverfront Club, including adding 4,000 square feet of new Yoga, Pilates and Spin studio space and a remodel of our current studio and locker facilities. America Cup Fly Fishing Tournament

Yoga Gives Back at The Riverfront Club
The Riverfront Club is pleased to be hosting Yoga Gives Back, a fundraiser featuring three special yoga classes, this Saturday, Sept. 17. Yoga Gives Back is a California-based non-profit dedicated to raising awareness and funds to help alleviate poverty among women and children in India. The Riverfront Club's Yoga Gives Back is part of the group's worldwide "Thank You Mother India" event, with more than 50 studios in 10 countries holding special fundraisers on Sept. 17th. A donation of $15 per class is suggested, with all of the money going directly to the organization. The class schedule includes:
Heart and Hip Opening Class with Janice Ingson: 8 a.m. - 9:20 a.m.
- Free your heart, unlock your hips and deepen your breath during this special Vinyasa yoga class. Explore a variety of poses that will focus on releasing the hips and opening the heart, allowing for a release of emotional tension and stress.
Power Flow Yoga with Elizabeth Sullivan: 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
- AnEnergetic PowerVinyasa Flow class that will energize your body, your soul and your life!Ignite your being withthis wonderful collective Get-Up-And-Go yoga class.
Gentle Flow Yoga with Yvonne Schwartz plus Tea Service and Meditation: 4:00 p.m. - 5:20 p.m.
- A combination of gentle flow and restorative postures for yogis of all levels, designed to encourage the body to let go and move into deep relaxation. A quiet tea service will be provided at the end of the class to help participants leave feeling renewed and refreshed.
The two morning yoga sessions will feature music by DJ Erik. With a background as a Buddhist practitioner and part-time yoga instructor, DJ Erik knows just which music to choose to create a seamless soundscape to feed your soul during your yoga practice. Pulling from mainstream tracks to world beat and modern yoga music, DJ Erik works with the energy in the room to create a fun, interactive flow to enhance your asana practice. Wheels & Wings Wheels & Wings: The Vail Automotive Classic takes off this Saturday at the Vail Valley Jet Center in Eagle from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be over 50 planes featured plus more than 200 classic cars and motorcycles, from vintage Rolls Royce's to new Ferraris. The participants will then cruise up Highway 6 to The Westin Riverfront for cocktails at Avondale. Don't miss this unique opportunity to check out these gorgeous machines up close!
Vail Oktoberfest
Oktoberfest moves to the Vail Village this weekend for three more days of oom pah parties, bratwurst, beer gardens and more. This weekend's lineup includes the Klement's Bratwurst Eating Contest, traditional Bavarian dance performances, the Beck's Adult Keg Bowling Contest and a 5K Vail Oktoberfest Fun Run on Sunday morning.
